No One Wants To Adopt This Sweet Dog Just Because He's Blind

No One Wants To Adopt This Sweet Dog Just Because He's Blind “He trusts humans completely despite everything he's been through” 💔 The first tme Nicole Simone saw Stevie it broke her heart. A video clip showing the young dog bumping into walls and spinning around was enough for her to decide she had to help him — despite being an entire country away. Life for the 2-year-old hound mix has never been easy. Animal control officers found Stevie wandering the streets of south Texas, near the Mexico border, and placed him in a crowded kennel, without realizing the little dog was different from the other strays. Deaf and partially blind due to a genetic defect known as microphthalmia, Stevie never saw the attack by his new pen-mates coming, and it left him with a wounded leg. Hopefully, for Stevie, that will all change very soon. https://www.facebook.com/redemptionpaws/ Help a Dog, Donate: http://redemptionpaws.org/ Source & More Info: https://www.thedodo.com/cl

Dog Meets Her ‘Twin’ On The Street And Convinces Mom To Bring Him Home

Image
Admit it, if you saw a person who looked exactly like you, you’d at least walk up to them to say ‘hi.’ So when Bethany Coleman took her dog, Rogue, for a walk and they noticed a pup that looked identical to the one she had on a leash, naturally, they introduced themselves. “Rogue and I were out for a nice long walk to our local farmers market when we saw Beast,” Coleman told Bored Panda. “He was there with Last Hope K9 Rescue and a bunch of other dogs that were all up for adoption. What made me want to rescue Beast over the other dogs was that he looked just like Rogue. They’re both cairn terrier mixes, Rogue’s mom was a lab/pit mix and her dad a cairn and with Beast we’re just not sure, it just has cairn mix I. His paperwork but we think he’s mixed with Basset due to his body type, he looks like a pig and has even been mistaken for a pig a couple times.” Source & More Info: https://www.boredpanda.com/rescue-dog-twins-best-friends-rogue-beast-bethany-coleman/?cexp_id=12762&a
