Toddler reunited with stolen ‘best friend’ after offering £10,000 reward





Toddler is reunited with his beloved border terrier puppy after £10,000 hunt for stolen pet sponsored by X Factor boss Simon Cowell



Three-year-old Edward Latter thought he had lost Morse just before Christmas



He wrote a heartbreaking letter to Santa asking to have his beloved dog back



But a couple 20 miles from their Kent home found the dog and returned him



The reward was offered by millionaire Cowell after he read about the theft

‘Zonkeys’ exist, and they’re amazing

A zoo in Mexico has welcomed into the world a ‘zonkey’: a rare cross between a zebra and a donkey. Named Khumba, the hybrid animal seen in the video was born on April 21 at Reynosa zoo, in the north-eastern state of Tamaulipas. Khumba’s mother is a zebra called Rayas, whilst the father is a dwarf, blue-eyed albino donkey named Ignacio that lives on a nearby farm. According to the zoo, Khumba is a rare case in the animal world because the zebra and donkey chromosomes are not compatible.
