Woman Buys Fish Rotting Away At Walmart, Can’t Believe Her Eyes 4 Weeks Later



Up until about a month ago, this poor little fish didn't have a friend in the world — and it showed.



Confined inside a tiny cup of tepid water, tucked in the shadows on the back of a Walmart store shelf behind prettier betta fish, the fish's condition couldn't have been more dire. Languishing at the bottom of the cup, his sickly pale body had begun to literally rot away and disintegrate. His days, it seemed, were surely numbered.

‘Zonkeys’ exist, and they’re amazing

A zoo in Mexico has welcomed into the world a ‘zonkey’: a rare cross between a zebra and a donkey. Named Khumba, the hybrid animal seen in the video was born on April 21 at Reynosa zoo, in the north-eastern state of Tamaulipas. Khumba’s mother is a zebra called Rayas, whilst the father is a dwarf, blue-eyed albino donkey named Ignacio that lives on a nearby farm. According to the zoo, Khumba is a rare case in the animal world because the zebra and donkey chromosomes are not compatible.
