Little Kid Amazes Costco Shoppers With Piano Skills  The last thing you'd expect to get at Costco is a free concert. But for a few unsuspecting customers, that's exactly what happened. While shopping with his parents, a fedora rocking child name Felipe stopped at a piano in the store's musical instruments section and started breaking it down. Although nobody has confirmed his identity, his skills are not in question. A group of onlookers quickly gathered once they heard the young man's talent, and a few -- including Jonathan Velasquez -- even started recording videos while heperformed Vittorio Monti's 'Czardas.'The video was originally uploaded in 2011 and is recently making the viral rounds online. This is  Big Bird,  a Great White pelican who lost his flock after a storm hit Lake Tanganyika. Injured, unable to feed himself, he desperately landed at the beach of the  Greystoke Mahale Camp in Tanzania,  where he recovered and learned to fly again. Here's his story, according to camp owners. It was nearly 4 months ago now that Big Bird swam in from Lake Tanganyika and promptly waddled up our beach here to the astonishment of lunching guests. He was young but already large, maybe 3 months old then. He couldn't fish without his flock. This species doesn't dive for fish, instead they corral the fish co-operating with each other and then scoop the cornered prey into their large stretchy pouches below the bill. So we have been given permission from Tanapa, the park authority to feed him. He didn't fly for some weeks but with encouragement he got the idea.   A series of giant zips have appeared in Japan. The huge fastenings have been seen on a wall, splitting a room in two, and across the length of a pond. The works are the creation of mysterious artist Kitagawa Jun, who started off painting a 2D version on the wall of a pedestrian tunnel before deciding that 3D zips would make even more impact. In the past few years, the results have been seen bisecting the ornamental waters of a Tokyo hotel and appearing to unzip the floor of a room to expose the underfloor woodwork. Kitagawa explained: ‘I painted murals of giant zippers on a tunnel in Roppongi. As it was quite a popular piece I had the idea that from then I would make three-dimensional versions.’ He knew he had made the right decision when his room zipper became the highlight of a housing exhibition. ‘My hunch was correct and it became one of the most interesting works. Some are smaller than we could have ever imagined and still   others aren't even houses at all   -- but in the realm of all these miniature abodes, we can safely say, this is the most whimsical one we've seen. Tucked far away in a Canadian cedar forest, this  160-square-foot gypsy wagon  was originally built in the mid-2000s out of mostly recycled materials using an 8-by-20 foot salvaged truck chassis for a base that, at the time, cost $100 from a wrecking yard. From that foundation, an organically structured home with curved walls and softly arched ceilings was built. A Fox 5 news crew caught the miraculous event on camera after noticing a large crowd gathering on the corner of Third Avenue and 68th Street on their way to film a scheduled story. The woman was reportedly in labor when she was attempting to hail a cab to the hospital. But she could no longer wait and got to the ground. Bystanders rushed to the woman's aid and wrapped both her and the baby in scarves for protection from the cold. The FDNY confirmed the mother and child were taken to nearby Lenox Hill Hospital. A new video posted on the Internet Monday shows scientific filmmaker Derek Muller asking a series of individuals if they can solve a simple math riddle — and, while the pattern is simple, multiple people struggle to produce the correct answer. “I’m going to give you guys three numbers, a three number sequence,” Muller explains at the start of the video, which has just over 2,000,000 views on YouTube. “And I have a rule in mind that these numbers obey. And I want you to try to figure out what that rule is.” The YouTube sensation then offers the sequence of “2, 4, 8″ to the series of individuals, asking them to propose three different numbers that follow the same pattern. An adorable video has captured a baby's first few moments of life, as it holds on to its mother's face, nuzzled against her cheek and screams whenever someone tries to remove it. The newborn, who evidently found the transition into life outside of the womb a bit of a rude shock, refused to let go of its mum after it was delivered by caesarian section and presented to its mother for skin-to-skin contact. When the nurse tries to take the baby away to clean it, the baby wails and will not stop until it is returned to its mum.

It was a sight that jarred motorists on the busy Dolphin Expressway. Westbound traffic suddenly came to a standstill around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, and a woman sprang from her car, holding a baby, screaming for help. Pamela Rauseo, 37, of West Kendall, quickly got that help for her 5-month-old nephew, little Sebastian de la Cruz, who was turning blue. Rauseo said she was in a panic, thinking she could not let anything happen to the baby while in her care. “My sister had trusted me with him,” she told reporters. Drivers stuck in 836 traffic just east of 57th Avenue swung into action. Lucila Godoy, 34, of Miami left her 3-year-old son in her car to help Rauseo revive the unconscious infant, who she said was born prematurely and had respiratory issues.
